We have mainly been focusing on the interdis project, with 2 and a half days a week devoted to it, its taking up the majority of the time. I am actually quite enjoying doing this project and suprisingly being in 4 days a week. I just feel like ive been a lot more producive and have been getting a lot more work done than i would have been at home.
Me and Ami have been going in early and staying late to do extra work, i think we're getting into gear for second year as we've been quite slack on the work front most of the year really. I do think i've done a lot better. Im quite happy with this project, now im actually working to a proper timescale i find i have things much more organised. I have done my dress with over a week to spare and can now concentrate on refining my research pages.
PPD on tuesdays have been going well, most of one of the days was taken up by me modeling various third year collections for their crits, which was quite useful on gaining information. I now have a better idea of things that work and what the teachers are looking for, how things such as pressing and finishes can make a difference and things about fabrics etc. My third year is quite unorganised and had to have her crit late, this has made me decide its definatly a lot better working to a clear time scale. Although it has been quite daunting seeing how stressed all the third years are.
