Red Lorry, Yellow Lorry

Today and yesterday in PPD we've been doing presentation skills, thinking about the importance of things such as visuals, content, body language and tone of voice in a presentation.
Today we went onto doing a sort of acting workshop, doing breathing, voice and relaxation exercises to make us more comfortable with public speaking as we will have to do a lot of it in the future. I do get pretty nervous with presentations sometimes and found the exercises to loosen up before to be helpful, I think it depends on who youre talking in front of though, im not sure if i find it easier with strangers or people you know.

I need to do some finishing touches to the river island project and do the image manipulation exercises, but on a good note we signed for our house next year today!!!! Its in Hyde park and theres quite a lot of people we know living round us, which should be good for houseparties and stuff. Worrying quite a bit about money next year because I have to pay my own accomodation, which comes to more than my loan. Its really unfair that the gov't expect students to live on such a small amount, my parents can give me a bit of money but if they couldnt i'd be struggling as I wouldnt be able to work as much as I would need to to get by without my work suffering. Whats the point in doing a degree if you can't give it your all?

Try saying this fast

I'm not a pheasant plucker
I'm a pheasant pluckers mate
And i'm sitting plucking pheasants
Cos the pheasant pluckers lare
