Came back last week for the new term to discover that i didnt actually have to be in till friday, which was good as it meant we could ease into the new term easily (i.e with lots of drinking...)
Started the Creative design practices last friday, over the holiday we've been collecting things on our word, mine being "through the grapevine", was going to go with gossip as the theme but then decided to do it on wine and italy. It was ok doing the trend/mood board thing to a deadline as it helped us realise how long it takes to do things and what its like working to a deadline. Then we were given the brief for the next part of the project which is to use "containers" as a starting point to design a collection for a high street brand. We have been doing a shop report over christmas analysing different levels of shops and what defines them.
I have to finish the river island competition project, im doing a clutch bag and just need to finish making it which i should hopefully do today or tomorrow. Its quite a busy week this week, we've got to look for houses and hopefully get one as soon as possible.
