Done, dusted and a burlesque night!

Slightly belated entry...whoops.

After a hurried night of finishing bits and bobs and completing 6 illustrations, work for creative approach to fashion is finally complete! So thats 30 illustrations in total, a garment (made from at least 3 other garments) a sketchbook and a photo using the word "JUMP" as illustration. Im really pleased to get it in, it feels like a weight off my mind. (need to time scale in the future, probably wont happen straight away but maybe at some point this year) I don't like being in a last min rush, even though I go to all the lessons I don't do enough out of them.

We were at uni for 8.20 (yes, it felt so wrong) and out by half 9, handing in was smooth, just bound the stuff and left it in the room once it was signed in, we don't get our marks till next term though which is rather lame.

Friday night was goth/burlesque night, it was amazing! everyone was dressed up, it was like stepping into a different era, i think im going to start the classes after christmas, the only scary bit is the club performance at the end...

Soooo now creative app is done i took the weekend off and went to the boyfriends house, but i still did some of my dress for design realisation. meant to finish it off today actually but i was knackered (getting up at half 6 is not for me) so i just sorted out the sleeves and the box pleat and intend to do it at home. PPD today was all about jobs in the fashion industry, i still have no idea what i want to do, i just know it'll be something fashiony...
Things that struck me as what I might want to do include, Fashion Journalist, Stylist or maybe a Buyer or PR. I don't really think I want to be a designer, but this changes all the time. I do enjoy the creative side of things but then im also unsure. I think its best for me to do something that is creative but not design, which is why stylist appeals to me, however any job in the fashion industry is going to be hard to get so i'm going to have to buck my ideas up and really try next year when its work experience time. I think i'm going to enjoy that a lot when the time comes.
